They both can be damaging if not done correctly. I think pressing is more safer then pressing.

Pressing is better to me b/c I can return to my natural texture since it isn't permanent...just moisterize regularly and press with a warm straightening comb or flat iron. I prefer a good flat iron for my hair since it's isn't kinky or super thick.

I not sure but someone told me that relaxed hair wouldn't work w/ a curly perm. I'd ask a beautician first.

well I'll have to ask a couple senior members first b/c I'm not sure. I just remember someone saying it to me. BRB w/ an answer hopefully.

I agree, they can both be very damaging if not done correctly but I think if you can gow ithout putting tons of chemicals in your hair, you're better off. I have thick 4a relaxed hair and my hair grows better in my opinion when it is relaxed (Because it gets very tangled without.) but if I could go natural without the fear of monster tangles, I'd do it in a heart beat and just rely on the hot comb or flat iron.
