My hair is fairly straight already but its thicker than the one shown in the picture. Will I need a straigtening iron?

Hey Hi, My hair is like the guy in the photo. Mine is thicker too, but after straightening it appears thinner and smoother like his. I brush my hair dry upside down first before I shower. I use pantene sheer volume shampoo. (keeps the hair thick and strong specially for heat tool usage) alternating with aussie mega shampoo once every 2 weeks. Fructis Conditioner for dry damaged hair, because it helps prevent straightner damage too. (leave conditioner on for like 5 minutes while you finish showering, then gently comb through with the product still on hair to make less breakage while blowdrying and trying to get a brush through it wet and rinse it out last) And after I blow dry it with the ION setting on, I roll my bangs under just a bit for the lift in the front then I straighten all around mostly the top layers to reduce frizz. be careful not to get lines in your hair from clamping down too hard or bending the hair with the tool and be careful not to burn your hair. NOW my favorite product to finish with I have not been able to find in so long. I have very little left in the tube and am using it very sparingly. You use just a half a pea size dab and smoothe it all over your palms and ever so lightly go over the top layer of your hair. then sort of dry your palms off on the ends smoothing downward. That is the very last hair step, dont touch your hair for 10 minutes or so til it is good and absorbed. Then feel free to play with your hair all you want and let it fall where it will. It feels all natural the way it used to as a kid with no work involved. It is the best ever defrizzer I have ever found that does NOT make your hair look or feel greasy. it is called BEYOND THE ZONE OIL-FREE DEFRIZZER HIGH GLOSSER. If you can help me locate a place to buy it I would be very appreciative. I hope you have a good day.
