Or so I've been told. My sister actually told me the other day that I looked like a mexican captain caveman.
Anyway, I bring this up because my hair has gotten quite out of hand lately (hence the caveman talk), and I need/want to get it relaxed instead of cut because I'm rather fond of having long hair.
I'm probably gonna get it relaxed in the next few days, and I was wondering what type of hair products I should be using afterward to keep it from getting nappy again.
Here's a picture:

Amusingly enough, that's what it looks like on a good day (but brushed back).
What kind of post-relaxed products might a person such as myself expect to use?

Found some info for ya
Relaxer Maintenance Tips
--Have a microtrim every 2-4 weeks to prevent split ends. --Use a moisturizing shampoo --Follow the directions on conditioners and deep conditioners (e.g. don't leave it on for too long) --Protect your hair from chlorine: apply leave-in conditioner and wear a swim cap. Always rinse your hair thoroughly after exposure to salt water or chlorinated water, and shampoo as soon as possible. --and I know this sounds simple, but ask your hairdresser for post-relaxer maintenance and care instructions. They'll be able to tell you more.
"As a rule, it's best to wait until you have at least an inch of newgrowth before having your hair touched-up."
you can also sleep on a satin pillowcase to minimize friction if you don't mind doing it as a guy. :)

A microtrim is a micro + trim, a teeny tiny trim. :) LOL.. I use too much hair jargon. :)

you know, my hair looks exactly like that! i can't believe there are people out there with my kind of hair! my bangs are the worst. they are like that put shorter...horrible. good luck with relaxing it!
by the way, has anyone heard of the "wet2straight" iron? claims it can straighten wet hair...and it will try it at the same time. is this true or just another lame gimmick?

Well, think about it...what generally happens to wet protein when you lay it on hot metal?
Don't get it, you're asking for trouble.

What do you mean when you say that? Worse than his, or worse than it was before?
Does your avatar show your natural hair?

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
