| Did anyone catch Katie talking about her hair on the show today? Matt and Al were talking about an upcoming segment on spring hair and she said she was thinking of "cutting it all off." One of them asked her as short as our hair and she said no. She said she was sick of her hair. That was about all she said on it and she didn't end up doing the spring hair segment. Might be something to keep an eye on. |

| That's interesting. I had kind of figured Katie's current style (the reverse part and the just above her shoulders curls) was here to stay for awhile. I would be surprised if she did cut it short and it's been several years now since she has gone really short. For awhile I thought it was only a matter of time before she went back short but it's been long enough now that I kind of figured she was keeping the 'around shoulder length' style for a long while. |

Seems to me she's been doing a lot of talking (other threads), but not much happened. Help me on this one - if someone is so sick of her hair, why keep it that long
Must be something with the show's producers not wanting to I guess. The pains even a star has to endure ... |

Since her current style is now looking exactly like the old style with the
part on the other side (and IMHO just as bland) I'd like to see her cut it. I think cutting it would force her to style it a bit more instead of just letting it hang straight down, which I don't think flatters her much. I'm glad she's sick of it too! A few years ago they did a Today flashback segment showing clips from previous years, including several when Katie's hair was very short and dark. When it was over, she said "I learned an important lesson: if you're not Winona Ryder, don't get your hair cut like Winona Ryder." (At the time Winona's hair was quite short.) I thought after that that she'd never go really short again, but I hope I'm wrong... ------------- Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE! |

I've been a big fan of Katie's "grow out" over the last
few years. She was looking pretty glamorous for quite a while. However, since her return from the Summer Olympics (in early Sept.) it has slowly become shorter and blander. This current style is the least flattering. As much as I hate to admit it --- it just might be time for Katie to cut it all off. Sad. |

| Katie has been on vacation for the past week and a half. It will be interesting to see if she's had any changes when she does come back. I really thought it would be this morning considering none of them seemingly ever take more than 6 days off in a row. Something to keep your eye on whether it's tomorrow or next Monday. |

Yes, Katie's hair doesn't appear to be shorter -- but you neglected to say she switched her part back to the left side. To me, she looks more comfortable. The tilt to the right is back. I hope she keeps growing it out. Nice to see her on a Saturday morning, although I wish it was on a more positive news day. |

Bleh, such a tease, that Katie :-P . I wish she wouldn't keep saying how she'd like to change her hair if she's not gonna do it :-P . I'm not sure whether she really wants to change, but people always tell her not to, or whether she threatens every once in a while just to get people to tell her how good they think she looks. . . either way, it annoys me :-P . ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

Katie's hair part switch lasted all of one day and now it's shorter? I thought she was consulting our opinion before making any further hair move. I believe the majority of us enjoyed her with longer hair, not shorter. And at least one of us said he enjoyed her part on the left side. C'mon Katie, start caring about us!
