I remember reading a while back that some people preferred the extendtubes to doc's microrings.  What was the reason for this?

I am getting ready to install on a client some Wa Wa hair with the microrings.

I pretipped the Wa Wa with a glue gun and glue sticks.  I found that the liquid gold method was too messy.

The extentubes are a little longer (hold the tip better) and a little thinner
for a flatter finish. The extentubes color doesn't chip as easily.

Alright, now what the heck am I doing wrong? Is it just my Mac not
showing my own photos or am I not hyperlinking correct?

While I'm *itchin' out loud, how come I keep getting email notifications of
new posts when I have repeatedly checked the box not to get them?

Grrrrrr.

I never get emails and I clicked the Yes box!

I think its the all caps, maybe you need to do lowercase img?

Hmm...I think there are a few extra spaces in the code. Lemme try it again:

Ahhh, I see. Thank you. How odd because I pasted it in from photobucket just like normal.

Anyway, as you can see, the rings have some subtle differences. Using the top photo as an example, the diameter is the same on the inside but the ring is thinner.

One piece of advice - don't pretip hair for extentubes or microrings unless you already have the rings you want to use. If you make the tips too big, you just did a lot of work for nothing.
