Hello everyone i was just wondering that when you take out a glued in weft do you use the remover and then like it just slides out? or is it like with shrinkies when there is still glue on ur hair and you need to use oils to get it out? Does anyone here glue in wefts? if so whats your method to taking them out?  thanks

blondie what type of glue do you need to remove? If you used latex, there are usually latex glue removers that you can buy. Some have an oil type remover and some have a lotion type remover. If its liquid gold, then there is a lg remover that is mainly mineral oil. And some glues use acetone based remover. Alot of people just use plain ole' vegetable oil, olive oil or baby oil. No the weft dont just slide out that easy! You have to put the remover on and let them soak, then gently work them out. Never pull! This can cause damage. After you get the wefts out you have to really work the remover into the remaining glue residue with your fingers and work out the glue. Its a slow process, you just have to be patient and let the remover work. |
