     Hola, I have thick curly hair that I like to maintain very short (Halle Berry short NOT soccer mom short) and flat iron religiously.

Can anyone recommend a few moderately priced salons in theWashington DC area where I could get my problematic hair cut and styled fabulously without any fuss?

Try Hair Rage International. It should be listed in the phone book, if not information has the number. They are great.
