Hi,

I'm new here and this is my first "New Topic" post. I've been reading these boards for a while and you all are so knowledgeable about hair and hair extensions that I feel silly asking this. I'm considering purchasing hair from indianhairs.com and I'm wondering is this better than Bohyme hair or beauty store hair. Is it all the same? Also do you have to do anything special to the Indian when it arrives. I'm reading the lice stories and I don't want to deal with that at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi mslizz!  We've dealt with so many companies here now that I can't keep them all straight in my head.  Beauty supply store hair is generally considered the cheapest.  Bohyme is what Kristin from haircandy.net uses, and it seems to be of consistent quality.  Kristin will be carrying it soon or you can get it from ebonyline.com

The only thing I've heard about indianhairs.com is that their hair is notoriously inconsistent.  You might get a good batch, you might not.  The kinds of human hair that seem to have the best reputation are Bohyme, Glamour Hair, and His & Her cuticle hair.

If you do a search on the forums for "indianhairs" you'll get a number of posts you can read for more opinions.

mslizz~ You may want to read the threads from the BHM
Forum. There is a lot of ladies that like indianhairs.com
because of the price. Yes, sometimes (not all the time) there is
nits (not live lice) reported in the hair. I’m sure you have seen
my posts concerning importing Indian hair and can tell you it’s
very common as I deal with it myself. It is entirely up to if
you want to do the work or not. Not every batch is like
this…….but the hair lasts pretty good. I would still say it’s better
quality than Bohyme and way surpasses BSS hair hands down.
I will import regardless of the nit issues because the quality is
way better than most of the hair out there. You just have to treat
the hair yourself.

PLEASE READ THIS

I would go to http://www.blackhairmedia.com/ and do a search
for Indianhairs.com and you will find 4 pages of threads about
this company. Spend some time going through the threads and
you will be able to get a better picture.

This is the most recent threads

There are a lot of girls here who love Bohyme hair. So if you
don’t want to deal with the possible nit issue (at very cheap
prices) or the high end prices of Nature Girl or Bliss, then
Bohyme would be the best choice for you overall. Some girls
here have converted to synthetic hair because of the
inconsistencies of human hair. You just have to find what’s right
for you. I hope this helps!!
