A quicker way to use fusion method imo, is to use a heat pad (finger protected) as if you roll while still very hot then you get the perfect bond.  However if you roll with your fingers and are anything like me (need to let it coll down alittle) then this can sometimes affect the bond as it doesnt penetrate all throught the hair strands and can sometimes look tacky where it has stuck to my fingers.  You then need to use the purger to fix this and tidy the bonds up which imo is just doubling your time really.  by using a finger protector (silicoln pad) to roll then you can roll while still very hot and penetrate all strands and you wont need to purge and keratin is very light anyway.

Silicoln pads and scalp protectors are a god send to me as when i wasn't using them it was sort of a sticky mess (lol)

p.s. for the record, this girl is having bonds really high up as it is totally nesesarry given her hair condition.

What fusion? or how i use the silicoln pad?

I tend not to leave any loose hair between bonds in someone with fine- medium hair and do a checkered effect on people with thick hair or lots of layers.  Yeah i always start at the bottom and work my way up.  The hair in the picture is standard HH therefore its very sparse at the ends and i found i needed to do this to make it look fuller however now with the bohyme and Raccon hair I dont need to do this as both they hairs fill out more.

Ive never had any problems with tangling in any of my clients with the method used nor dreads forming other than the time i used a certain brand of indian remi hair that done extactly that. I dont get that though as indian remi shouldnt tangle?? Must have been just rubbish hair.

Amanda, if you were to measure your sectioning, about how big is it?  i keep hearing from people who section 1/4" x 1/4", but when I do that, my strands seem big and I could never fit 20 strands per row. 

Shel, same question to you.  I think my strands look closer to yours. 

What do you think the differences are between smaller and larger strands, as in the pro's and cons?

To me, I feel like the smaller the strands, the easier the breakage, but the less noticeable, but the more you have to put in.  

The larger the strands, less breakage, becomes fuller easier, a bit easier to spot, but less to put in. 

Anyone else have an opinion on that?

FINALLY, about how long do your bonds measure?  Seems like an odd question, but from the top of the bond (where the glue starts) to where the glue stops, about how long is that?  Just curious to see how mine compare with everyone else's.
