Hello everyone,

I can not dye my hair because it is not strong enough. I would like to put a rinse in my hair, preferably light brown or burgundy. I don't want all of my hair burgundy. I would like streaks. Can you have streaks in your hair using a rinse. My beautician told me no. I think it can be done. If anyone has had streaks in their hair using a rinse, please inform on how it was done. I would like to update my beautician.

Thanks in advance,

Moccagirl22

Good question...I'd like to know that as well. I've wanted to streak my hair with cinnamon or light brown chunks, but didn't want permanent color. I can't envision how you'd do this with a rinse though??!

you can do it, but it wont last as long. get a streaking cap and pull your hair through, put the rinse on, let it sit, then rinse it out.

its basically the same thing as having a rinse...only on certain parts of the hair. i think the stylist just was being lazy.

rinses are best for going to a darker shade though, trying to go lighter probably wont be too effective.

I put a rinse in my hair like 4 or 5 months ago and my hair is still reddish. It's annoying because I want all of my natural hair color back.
