Hi,

Okay, so I had meduim brown hair, and used L'Oreal Superior Preference Les True Brunettes to lighten it.  I used Ultra Light Ash Brown (UL61).  I completely forgot about some growing out blond panels that I had and they turned this ugly ashy purple gray!  It's only a couple little chunks, but they are right by my face since it was panels.  I can almost hide them, and I like the color of the rest of my hair.  My goal was to color, tehn in a few days do an at home highlighting kit.  HELP!

Take some dish soap, like Dawn and shampoo just the blonde pieces a couple of times, it will pull out the tone.

Okay, so i've done that a few times, maybe 3.  Most of it came out, but there is still on small chunk that is purple-gray.  So frustrating!  I almost want to go spend the $10 to just dye the stupid chunk, but I'm afraid the colors won't match.  :(

OK, then you'll need to use a bit of bleach on it, so go to Sally's and pick up some  Clairol BW2 and 10vol Clairol creme developer and mix one tablespoon or BW2 to one tablespoon of developer and mix it in a  plastic bowl  with a brush (you can get thoses at Sally's and get gloves too) and then apply that ONLY to the piece that needs it, it will work in about 10 minutes and then rinse & shampoo & condition.

Check it before you take it off, by wetting a paper towel and wiping off a small area to see if the off toned color is gone.
