i got a few waves coming in now. u can really see them in the back though. but i was wondering if im doing something wrong? heres wut i do" -wash hair in direction of pomade. forward for top, down for back, and toward eyes(almost like and angle down) for sides -"pat" my hair dry, or just rub in the direction of pomade -put in pomade direction above (using sportin waves) ~i can see the waves really well when i put it in, but when i brush it, its like they got away~ -brush in direction that i put the pomade in -put du-rag on and call it a night -wake up, brush again something wrong there? if i put too much pomade in, its like i cant move my head, but i at least see the waves well. if i put a little, u dont really see the wells all that well. ~been at this for about a week now if that helps |

how do i know when i have too much. some people say they can see the white in my hair (not a good thing). i get about a finger full (from the tip of my finger, to the next line or knuckle) for each part that i brush. ------------- |

yea brush more meaning more then 30-40 mins and try to keep the brushing of each side the exact same.What i mean is people brush a side more that has no waves, then when they appear on that side they seem more define then the other ------------- |

yea you can use pink oil it moisterizers your hair and your scalp use it after you shampoo your hair and its damp ------------- |

wut do u mean? its kinda low now cause of the wave cap compressing the hair. its not like an afro or anything though. i got it cut mayb a month ago...but my hair is growing alot slower for some reason. but its not as low as a fresh cut ------------- |

heres another thing i thought of...should my hair be wet when i put the pomade in? cause i put it in when its semi-dry to completely dry. cause sometimes i might have some water in the back of my head..and u can really see the waves back there ------------- |

seems like i did something wrong. lost just about all my waves using the hot towel. heres wut i did: washed hair and brushed in shower put pink in hair, and brushed in put hot towel on head put in pomade brushed hot towel again for safe measures brushed when i brushed the first time...didnt see a big deal. brush still got messed up. the second time though...it was almost as if i was brushin the pomade out. every stroke had more and more pomade in the brush. looks like i have to start over ------------- |

i wasnt sure when to put the hot towel on...some people say its melts the pomade to "spread" easier. i thought that was the case here. o well....i still got a few. besides..i think its time for a fresh cut, or at least an edge up ------------- |

ha...got waves back. i think they are better than before too. heres wut i do now -wash hair in shower, and brush while washing -brush when i get out til water stop coming off my head -put some pink in, and brush til cant see it no more (~5mins) -wipe head w/ hot rag/towel in direction waves (go around 2-3 times) -SMALL AMOUNT OF POMADE (i think thats where i messed up last time) -brush for about an hour or so -durag and sleep ~morning~ -put pink in, and brush -brush for about 10-20 mins im sure if i keep this up...ill be spinnin for sure ------------- |
