Before having single strand fusion bonds applied by your Professional Extensionist you must wash your hair, but don't condition it, or the bonds may fail.  Also once you have got your extensions in do not wash your hair for 5 days to let the bonds dry and harden.  If you go swimming put your hair up on your head, chlorine can make bonds sticky.  Never condition your bonds, just mid-length downwards.  Always use a good brush, which is soft and gentle on extensions and will not snag them like a comb does.

When you have washed your hair and it is still wet, separate each bond so that they don't matt up.

Make sure you use the correct shampoo, conditioner and spray-in, because a lot of commercial conditioners have strong chemicals in that break the bonds down in time.  I always recommend using products that have been tried and tested as being brilliant for all types of hair extensions, including plaiting, winding, heat clamped styles too.

If your extensions are falling out, it could be that you have been using the wrong products, or it could be that your extensionists has not done good bonds.  You always need to speak to your extensionist to see if you are doing anything wrong.  A good extensionist will always be pleased to help you.

These are the products you sell, correct?

Please know that these boards are not designed for advertsing, hotdog. If you continue with these types of posts, I can guarantee you they will not be well-received.

Jenny's just being nice. Hotdog, are you for real? Did you look at any of the preceding 65 pages of this board before you posted your Extensions 101 tutorial?

Be forewarned. Most of us are on our last good nerve when it comes to hair and being fleeced by good, upstanding citizens such as yourself.

I know I'm a newbie but s#*t, I've seen several threads pretty much letting hotdog know to nock it off.  Enough already.  It isn't an advertising board
