Subject: Help with my Bohyme Order

Well, I've been comparing the EZ Plugs and Bohyme, and I think I'm going to go with the Bohyme this time around.

I want the hair mid back length (bra strap).  So, if I order the 14" will this be too short?  Or, should I order the 18" (which is an additional $45!)

The hair comes in 4 oz. bags, so I plan to order 2 bags.  I think a bag & 1/2 will do.

Also, I'm torn between the silky straight & the natural wave option.  My natural hair has a grown out perm (don't ask! lol) so I'm wondering if it would be best to go with the wave option so it would blend more, and not have to worry about straightening my own hair.  ??? any suggestions?  Plus, I could always straighten the wavy hair if I wanted to, right?  Either one I choose, will come out the same amount of $$. Is it possible to re-use this hair?

One more question... I think I want the color 613.  I was thinking that it would be best to order one bag of 613 and a similar color for the second bag, like color 22?  & blend the two shades.  Any suggestions on what color I should get to blend w/the 613?

Thanks so much ladies!!

14" will not be long enough.   Get the 18".

8 ounces will be plenty of hair.

I'd get the wave hair, as it will blend better with the texture of the ends of your hair.  Of course you can straighten it if you want.

I actually don't usually buy the straight, I think it's too straight.  Most people want a little body in the hair.

613 and 22 sounds like a nice mix.

Well, that settles it.  Thanks Metalgirl!  I knew inside that the wave would be better... just needed that extra voice, lol.  On to ebonyline.com to fork out $230 on hair!!

I hope the 22 & 613 do the trick!

Just to let you know, #22 and #613 are almost exactly the same shade in Bohyme... If you are looking for a little contrast, you might try #613 and #16

Just a thought... I have no idea what your hair looks like so you're probably a better judge.... hehe

Thanks Kristin!  I love you new pic, too!  My hair is a light blonde, but I plan on lightening it even more before my next install

When is you website going to have Bohyme up??

$230 seems alot Bridget.  Why dont you try ordering 1 pk of 18" bohyme that is already mixed, then order another if needed.  I tried the 613 / 27 mix before and it was quite nice.  Is your hair really thick?

I doubt you'll need a full 8 ounces, but I'd still recommend ordering that amount, because I do think you'll need more than 4, especially if you're still wearing your hair straight sometimes (I think it's a bit easier to fake fullness with wavy hair, but straight hair can look pretty sparse if there's not enough of it in).

What happened with the WaWa? Have you decided that you don't like synth? :)

Hi Bridget, I have been tiping with epoxy and I can reuse it, comes out just like it went in ! I bought straight bohyme and I wsh it had some body but that was all they had in my color and I would not wait!!! It dose curl nice and if I want it straight I can let it air dry and bone straight it is.as far as colors I use 18/22 alot to mix in to my blonds it's pretty

shel221, the cost per 4 oz. pk, is $80, then another $10 for my blonde color, then another $25 for the length (18"), X's 2 packs is $230 + tax.  I think I can get free shipping though.  I know it's alot!  But I'm figuring I can re-use this, so what the hey.  This pricing is from ebonyline.com, can I find it cheaper??

Jenny, I decided to give the Bohyme a shot because of the great reviews, and I want to have an expirence with every hair.  The WaWa was okay, just shouldn't have ordered it bone straight, so I didn't wear it out to it's full potential (it didn't look as good as it could have, with my own hair so it had to go, sooner than later, lol). I'm doing extensions on my bro's g-friend a week from Sat. & I plan to use the WaWa.

Marie, do you have any pics of your extensions?  please, please    Did you spend about the same for your Bohyme?

AFAIK, that's pretty standard for Bohyme--they do charge more for the lighter colors and, of course, the longer lengths. You could try superhairfactory.com (although some UK members have been having problems with them) and possibly TexasBeautySupply, but that's probably the best deal you're going to get.

$230 may seem like a lot, but for two packages of human hair retail, it's pretty reasonable, believe me. You wouldn't get anything better for the price, I don't think--possibly from Extensions-Plus, but I'm not familiar with their hair.

Uh oh! This is freaking me out... I am getting extensions Tuesday and I only have 1 pack of Bohyme silky straight! I hope it doesn't look too bad.

However, I have fine, shoulder-length hair and I thought it might be okay to just use one pack.

it'll be ok, just dont expect it to be real thick.

Ok, whew! Actually *thick* hair wouldn't look right on me I don't think. I had extensions done about 10 years ago and the lady used some course, thick hair (who knows what kind it was) and it kinda overpowered my face I thought! TOO much hair.

Thanks!

Sorry--didn't mean to freak you out!

Yeah, if you don't like a thick look, it'll probably be OK then. Worse comes to worse, you get a little more added after the fact. But from the sounds of it, 4 ounces might work out fine.

Good luck, and keep us posted! :)
