Im getting into a new regime (i know i spelled it wrong) and im looking for the best carrot oil and heat protectant. Any opinions? ------------- niki |

I looked at the ingredients on the label of Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil. I was pretty sure that soy oil wasn't something I wanted in my hair. I ended up buying pure carrot seed essential oil from http://www.bestdeal.org/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?screen=SRCH&store_code=essential&search=Carrot%20Seed - Camden-Grey Essential Oils , blending it with jojoba and sweet almond oil, a little lavender essential oil, and whatever other essential oil I feel like for fragrance.
Almost all oils are good for the hair. There's no magic formula. Try it out! |

Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil works fantastically for me as a heat protectant. I have significantly different hair than eKatherine, though. Almost every ingredient listed is something that I have heard is good for hair, or would be willing to at least try: Soybean Oil, Safflower Oil, Carrot Oil, Aloe Extract, Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E), Cholesterol, Hydrolyzed Keratin Proteins, Horsetail Extract, Rose Hips Oil, Pecan Oil, BHA. Sounds like a nice blend to me. ------------- Make every day you have count, before the time comes for you to count every day you have. |

I used to use hollywood carrot oil for Heat protectant. It worked great. That was a few years ago. I would pick some up but Im limiting heat . ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I remember a oil mix that I done with this where I used Queen Helene's Cocoa Butter and melted it all together.
