Hello ladies, I have to say that you ladies are sooooo knowledgeable that I am very impressed.  I have just spent 4 hours reading post after post on hair extensions and where to buy hair.  The one thing I could not find out is where do I buy the Great Lengths hair that most people agree is top quality??? Also, where do I buy the raw indian hair?? I TRULY would appreciate your guidance.  I apoligize in advance if these questions were answered somewhere and I overlooked it.  After 4 hours my eyes got tired.  I am getting married in July(yippee!) and will be wearing extensions and only want the best quality hair.  Thank you so very much ladies!

Hi and welcome!

It's mind boggling isn't it, how much info we have here!

Anyway, I don't believe that you can buy GL hair unless you are a stylist that is certified in that method.

As for the raw Indian hair, perhaps SAS or Sherrie can answer that one.

If money is no object, I would suggest buying European or Russian hair.  I have bought many batches of european hair for my clients through Extensions Plus, and have never been disappointed.

Well, I'm sure the others will chime in on this.

Congrats on your wedding!

Hi there ilovehair,

Yeah, you have to be a stylist certified in GL to buy the hair.
Here are the most popular Indian hair sellers.............

Nature Girl - http://www.naturegirl.net/
Bliss – http://www.blissenterprisesonline.com/index.htm
Indianhairs - http://indianhairs.com/
RK Hair Products - http://rkhairproducts.com/online.html

I definitely think you should look into Extensions Plus for good
quality hair. http://www.extensions-plus.com/

Good Luck & Congrats!!

Ditto everything metalgirl and SAS said.

But Im not sure if you can buy the hair from extensions plus unless you are a stylist? Ive heard all good about the hair though, and wouldn't mind trying it myself!

I think you can buy from Extension-Plus if you're not a stylist... But if you are a stylist, you can get *stylist* pricing...

THANK YOU LADIES for your advice and well wishes!  Okay, this is what I am going to order. Please let me know what you think

From Extensions Plus the 22' natural body, 10 ounces.

From Russianhair.net I am going to order the #12 light golden brown and have it dyed blonde.  I want my extensions blonde like Jessica Simpson blonde The length is 21-22 inches.  I will order 10 ounces of this too.

My thinking is that if I order from the top companies then I can decide which hair I want to wear on my wedding day. I have a big head, do you think 10 ounces is enough?  Thanks a bunch!

Good luck with Russianhair.net. I think the company's received some good reviews, but a few members here have been unable to contact them in recent months. Why are you planning to lighten the hair, if you don't mind my asking? Do they not have the russianhair in blonde? Anyway, 10 ounces sounds ample to me. :)

Thanks everyone! Jenny, thanks for the info about Russianhair.net.  I did not realize that a few members have not been able to contact them in recent months, not a good sign.  Hmm, I need to look into that.  About the blonde, on the drop down menu when selecting hair, they don't list the blonde as an option but at the top of the webpage they show one blonde color option.  I sent them an email to find out what the deal is and am awaiting a response.

If that is you in your avatar your hair looks awesome!
