How long should this be taking me?  I think I may have really killed it with some stupid crap I did last week.  Then again maybe I'm not putting in enough effort. I also think part of ther eally trashed stuff is wawa...  I seem to remember only having to do it twice on my 9 weeks of PH openenders.  and it took like maybe half an hour total. maybe.

 SO survey

How long do you spend and how often to blow out the ends of your PH?

Well, this time around I've only blown it out once--yesterday--and I've had the hair for three weeks. It doesn't take me long at all--maybe 10 minutes. I'd say I blow out the entire bottom half, though--not just the ends--but I'm really careful to move the hair past the heat quickly (the first time I used the blow-dryer with my PH, I think I fried a few sections a bit). I'm also careful that the hair is completely detangled beforehand and sectioned neatly, for obvious reasons. When I blew it out the other day, the hair was still ever-so-slightly damp from the shower, and it was fine that way, too.

Are you using Doc's method (where the dryer is mounted on somethng, so you're just sort of guiding the hair through the brush with your hand)? I've found that very helpful. I can't seem to do it well holding the dryer in my hand.

:)

I've been fiddling between the beginning of act one and the end of the show. SOmetimes with the dryer lying flat oa table some times recruiting one of the offstage actors to hold it.  I think I may have it on too low a setting.  I've definitely made progress towards getting the kinked up bits under control but they are still somewhat kinky.  pieces are order of 1/4" zig zags...  they are smoother.

the show is over so tonight instead of going from my lab to the show I can go home and seriously try.  I could just be too tired to do it right...
