I went to  get my hair cut today, after not having it cut for 5 or 6 months, he took out all the damage cut hair.

Within the Few weeks, I am going to test out some styles since its seems to be feel light however, its THICK and CORSY as he said and to get a Straight perm for it will cost me 180$ and that will seem to last only for 6 months? (I dont have that type of money)

I straighten my hair with my sisters straightner to get it fluffy or so, though it damages or frys my hair so later on it gets a bit tad harder to straighten it.

Here is one style I tried and it didnt work out but turn out to be interesting O.o

I spiked hair, though it is very very long, I tried to spike it. Everytime I try to spike my hair, whether short, or long, it will fall. But this time it stayed up for about an hour or 2. I straighten it, Blow dry with hairspray and it was spiky. Hours later it resulted in this:

After showers or so it will look like this (Hair still wet):

(After it drys, it looks horrible)

Though I got a haircut today, Anyone has any suggestion for Thick Wavy Style Hair?

stop stop stop

you are teasing and torturing your hair. you need to calm down with those styling tools ok. that is your natural hair texture. you cant battle with it every single day unless you have a stylist that comes to your house to style it. you might ask a hairstylist to thin your hair to make it less fluff and to cut the volume a bit.

use mousse instead of gel t style your hair, spikes are not for you. maybe the comb back style or parted on the side you should try. or better go super short aka millitary style or go bald.

Always use conditioner everyday to keep your hair soft and smooth.

Keep in mind though nothing can beat having it chemically straightened. IF you can't afford that, you should consider changing your hairstyle.

Maybe the layered/messy look? Whatever you do, don't spike it because its too long to do so.
