          | OK, more of a training braid really.   A lot of hair falls out and
flops around.  By the time it is long enough to stay together, I
should have had enough practice to make it decent looking.
Even so, a milestone I hadn't really thought about until I did it.

          | Congrats, Mr. H.  I didn't learn to braid my own hair until it was a lot longer than yours is now.
I wished I had learned earlier -- much earlier.  Consequently I
ended up wearing my hair in just a ponytail until it was almost
"classic" length.  But since I've been braiding my hair almost
every day for the past 6 years, it is easy to do.  (I can braid it
with my eyes closed.)

          | Me too! It's quite relaxing in a way. Dave, you can just pull your
braid round to finish off the end bits but for us shorter haired
mortals, you kind of pull it straight up and do it from behind. Tra la
l alla. A long snake of hair slowlty extends above your head
lol. Congrats on your braiding Mr happy!!! |
