Hey all... my Bohyme hair arrived!  I got 18" body wave in two colors... 613 & 24.  The 613 looks more on the yellow-ish side.  Like a brand new barbi. The 24 is nice, very, very close to the 613 minus the yellow tones.  What should I do?  Will this yellow fade?

I'm also working on tipping WaWa for an install I'm doing this weekend.  Do I need to use nail glue over the tips if she just plans to throw away the hair after this wear?

Thanks!

Hmm...I doubt the 613 will lose its yellow tones on its own. Maybe some Shimmer Lights or another toner would help, though. I've always found that HH 613s were a bit yellower than I would've liked. I think it might be hard to lift the hair (which is originally black) up to a high blonde without some brassiness. :)

Thanks Jenny, I have toner I could prob. use.  I'm kinda nervous tho... should I just return it for another blonde?

Hi Bridget, i found the bohyme blonde shades to be slightly pink.  I used a colour 22 and while doing my friends hair in the salon and everyone kept commenting on how lovely the pink was.  she was okay with it though.  Where did you buy it from?

I bought it from ebonyline.com.  It feels very silky, soft and full.  I bought the wave, so when I ran my fingers thru it, it kinda frizzed out thru the ends.  Like when you take the hot rollers out of your head and you look like shirley temple, lol.  It's supposed to straighten out a bit after a shampoo.  I think I might try the shimmer lights to tone the brassiness...

shel, were did you get your pink blonde bohyme?

I find colours 22 and 24 to be pinky beige shades but once in they look different.  The colours 22 and 24 bohyme from America are really pretty ashy light blonde shades with not a hint of pink xx

I have had a few body waves and i know what you mean.  There is a good spray you can buy which helps tame them. Do you have a sally's near you?

BRIDGET- I got it from a uk supplier that stocks bohyme, i dont think it was ment to be like that but didnt want to go through the hassle of exchanging (as i usually order at the last minute and get the hair only the day before my clients appointment) i still have some.  I will post a pic when i get home tonight
