shipping ground with three bags of hair?  anywhere from a week to maybe three?  Some have had wrse luck with the shipping but usually on larger orders.

The hair is 120cm (48") unless you ordered extra long (which is only an option on a few colors)

How long do you want your tips to be?  I'd say you can get ~80 24" tips or ~120 16" tips.  More if you want smaller tips.

The bags weigh 100g(.22 pounds) each.

With regular ground, if they have the colors in stock, it'll probably be about 3 weeks. The hair is about 47 inches long, so if you don't want it superlong, you can actually double the hair. I'd say you could probably make 75 medium-size tips from one bag and 150 if you cut the hair in half (but I'm not the best at these estimates). Mocha would probably know.

Also remember if you are prelayering (The Kalika Method, if you will) that you can cut the hair into say 18", 16", and 14" sections and pull alittle off each pile for each tip.. Though you run the riskof just making a big ole mess doing this too...

And thank you Jenny.  but notice we came up with basically the same number for doubling the hair over.

if you do that rubberband it first and cut off that.  its just as easy as if you were cutting off a weft.

(I didnt think the prelayering would be such a big hit lol, I just came up with it cause neither I nor my boyfriend can cut hair for beans)

I do pre layer but only the very top and sides wich I like a bit shorter. The rest layers on its own because the rows above will not be the same length as the one below.I will just sit and wait now for the mail man to BRING IT TO ME!!!!!!!

Marie I just ordered 4packs of different browns of PH this morning also. It said that in came in 120cm, 100g per bag. Did you order the Kanekalon monofibre? I ordered them all in the straight, now after reading some past posts about Kanekalon I'm not so sure. E.

I just tried to go over my order but they don't let you change your order quite so easy. Will have to go back and figure it out. I have NO idea which is the right one either!

hi marie and elvira - the monofibre/monofilament (the "good stuff" for loose) is the "kanekalon silky" and not the jumbo braid;  it looks like the jumbo should say something like "kk jumbo" under your order and it also looks like it is is typically 150cm long (same weight as the monofilament). the kanekalon silky monofiber (straight, 50, or 28 cm curl - all from the same thing) is better quality than the BSS kanekalon braid. it's the monofiber/monofilament part that's the key.

under your order look for the keywords "silky" , under the monofiber page you should also have had to choose between natural and fancy...any questions email sara at PH...she's great.

Ditto everything Cheryl said. The PH KK is the high-quality monofiber; the jumbo braid is the lower-grade stuff. :)

wow, am i that dense that i don't see an area to order on Sara's website???

or do you order from her only through ebay???  i know i missed the PH bulk order, i'm bummed.  Maybe i should buy a couple of premade falls first before i try making my own...the only problem is most of our stores here have Revlon...and that hair is crap - like the stuff my cat pukes up!

i think it was Rosa who made the comment about PH and it's "bundle of silky deliciousness"....or was that Amm??? regardless...it sticks in my brain!

anyone have some Hazelnuss and Fichte they wanna sell off???

i found it but not through her site...it was through a link on Jenny's FAQ - and quite frankly, the site looked TOTALLY different from that perspective.  I was also dealing w/ a 26k dialup last night when i was looking - that didn't help.

Yup; it's confusing. No one can find it at first. It's http://plastikhaar.ch/wholesale/ - http://plastikhaar.ch/wholesale/

Then go to Synthetic Hair, Kanekalon Silky Monofiber, and they're all listed under the Fancy or Natural colors. You chose the wave pattern (Straight, 50mm, 28mm, etc.) when you choose the color.

That was not a user friendly site. I kept screwing up and reordering and after all of it, I have ordered a total of 8 bags! 4 of them straight hair using paypal, and 4 bags wave paying with invoice (bank transfer!) I'll send you some when I get it mtolady, I got four different brownish colors, and hazlenuss is one of them. Do you live in the US? I'm on the east coast.

Sara was very prompt in responding to my inquires. I felt bad for screwing up all my orders but she was cool about it. E.

Yeah I have orderedf rom her a few times.  usually large orders.  I even had trouble this time around with going back and editing the shopping carta nd it generating a new paypal IPN.  But Sara is really cool and fixes it right up when you mess things around.   The site will only keep up with US dollars toa certain point and then it always switches back to swiss franks then always back to dollars if that's your chosen ebay crueency...

I think because she definitely needs at least 4 currencies for her shop to work well at all she has some limited options on how to keep her books straight.  Big companies can have fancy software that handles everything but she's not a big company and doing the books is hard enough in one currency much less switching back and forth.

I wonder what would happen if I randomly chose pounds as my currency next time and then went to pay with my USD paypal linked checking account...

But I don't wonder enough to deal with it.

Elvira, where on the east coast are you?
