If anyone has seen either the second or third cycle of Americas Next Top Model they will know what I am talking about: I want to do what Shandi and Amanda did, going from mousy to light blonde. Will it be too damaging/cost too much/ look strange? I'm so sick of my hair now, I think having a different colour will give me such a boost of confidence. I have the money to do it now, and maybe a few more times, but I'd have to get a job for the future. Saying that though, I'm really suffering from low self esteem at the moment, and I think it would be totally worth it. All comments welcome!

Going blonde really can be a confidence booster, especially if it goes
with your complexion. If you have it done at a salon, they will
likely do it right the first time and it won't be so bad damagewise if
you have unprocessed hair. (Or you can do what I did the first
time I tried blonde and buy a box at the drug store and get orange

What is your base color? Is your hair currently colored? Is it in good health? Give us a little more background on it so we can be more specific with our suggestions.
