Can you tell me your experiences with coloring human hair? I just recieved my HH clip-ins and the closest I could get to my hair color without going too dark was chestnut which is a brunette with a red hugh to it. If I went to the next color on the colorswatch it went to expresso which was too dark. I color my own hair with Loreal #5,  medium brown but is actually pretty dark. I plan on using the same in a semi-perm color on the sample piece but just curious what your experiences were on how HH takes colors typically. ??

I have colored many wefts of HH, do a strand test first, and when you are happy with the strand test results, watch the timing of the hair.  I find that the HH can get dark fast.

Thanks Metalgirl. My hair takes color fast too, that is why I always have to go to a lighter shade to get next shade darker look. It would be great if (my clip-ins and my own hair) can work their timing out together
