hi i have dry damaged hair and I read using vinegar will help the dry hair be cured. Which vinegar do i use? Apple cider vinegar, distilled vinegar, or just regular vinegar? thanks.

Apple Cider Vinegar is the most commonly used variety for clarifying treatments. However, vinegar will not "cure" dry hair. Vinegar rinses will remove deposits of conditioner, oil, and/or other "gunk"  that sticks to hair strands. It's a good "cure" for hair that is crunchy or gooey from buildup.

Hope this helps,

Anais

Aloha! How often do you guys do your rinse? I just saw a lot of posts on it latley and I relized that I might be due...but can you over do it? I use the ACV rinse once a month.

I do it at least once a week, and there's never any problem.

I endeavor to use the diluted vinegar rinse after every washing; sometimes I forget (to make the rinse beforehand).  If I forget twice in a row I start to get buildup (and the scalp gets dirty more quickly).
