I was wondering if you could apply fusion extensions with LG tips?

What I mean is I have pre-tips with LG and was wondering if it would work with Kristen's fusion tutorial on haircandy?

LauraR, what do you want to do exactly? It sounds like you want to apply hair extensions using fusion, is that right? If so, you can pretip your hair using fusion glue and then install them with a purging tool. You don't need to pretip them with LG - that's for pretipping strands for use with shrinkies or extentubes so the strand doesn't shed.

Hope that helps.

Hmmm I think FinaFina actually did do some fusion with hair that was pretipped with LG, maybe she can answer that one.

Yup, I sure did, and I don't recommend it for long-term use. Those LG-only tips start to get loose very quickly, and that's when you get into danger of pulling out your own hair with the loosened tip.

If you want to do fusion tips use keratin. It's GOTTA be easier to work with than LG!!

Further - the LG tip doesn't exactly "wrap around" Your hair like a true fusion tip should. It's just not secure enough and leaves you susceptible to too much damage (i.e. hair ripping out).
