Hey! I dyed my hair using Garnier 100% Color about a month or so ago and now the color is washing off. I am wondering what hair color I should choose next, but I want it to be a blue shade and not so much a black. I also want the hair color to be avaliable in a local store.

I've been considering the "deepest indigo" shade by Preference, but I dont know how it will act on my hair. By the way, my natural hair color is like a dark brown and my hair is somewhat straight.

Does anyone have any suggestions about which shade to choose?

Maybe u should try one of the deep blues from manic panic, it won't hurt ur hair and it washes out after a few shampoos too.

Use Preference or Feria I can't remember but it comes in: BLUE/BLACK. Or Starry Night. Indigo is PURPLE. I've done all of thee above. ;)
Or what Vernoica Suggest, unless you really want blue hair... and that's pretty easy to achieve aswell. :)

I like how the Manic Panic midnight blue looks in the swatches, but I've never seen it in a store :-( .  So either the stores here never order it, or it's very popular and always sells out.  I've often wondered if something that dark might be dense enough a blue to not show up green on me, though.  If I ever do see it, that's definitely one I'll have to try.

I think Special Effects Blue Velvet is a great dark blue.  Over dark brown hair it will be a very deep blue, without necessarily being blue-black.  Also, it's a veggie dye, so it won't damage your hair like permanent dye.  It may or may not be available locally...check Hot Topic and any beauty supply stores.  Otherwise, there are several online sellers, including http://www.garmentdistrict.com/store/rock/special/index_special.htm - garment-district.com and http://www.amphigory.com - amphigory.com
