I kow that the AD therm is supposed to be dyable.  has anyone done their roots with wawa in?  I'm pretty sure I read s omewhere on here that you need to use synthetic fabric dye to color it.

My install is going slow but that's just as well since I realise I need some serious dye work anyhow.  I just don't want to take down what I've already put in...

To clarify.  I want the wawa to stay the color it is (daark brown) and to make my hair be close to the color the wawa is intead of mix and match bleach bits and salt and pepper roots.

BTW - I'm using wefts on the new microringed track method.  It's surprisingly smooth in a ponytail while i hide the half doneness of it.

it should stay what it is as long as you use a human hair dye :)

I think fabric dyes work best for synth hair.

I used several dyes - including Rit and several hair dyes - on 613 WaWa and nothing. It dyes the hair, but not any recognizable color - everything I tried, which were all browns, turned green. I believe that WaWa is NOT dyeable. You have nothing to worry about when doing your roots.

has anyone tried any semi or demi perm. hair dyes? Or even a veggie dye? I tried a couple of permanent hair dyes that I had on hand on another brand of thermo---not wawa. With the same kind of results as you Syren, except I was going for dark blonde/light brown and achieved a mauvey/ pinkish blonde! One turned out close to a light brown but still with a pink cast!

Cool if it is how I remembered and results were minimal I won't have to worry about my brown wawa turning full on black on me.  I just hope that the redbrown mix doesn't darken up either.  I'll give a full report when I'm done. 

oh and the red brown weft mixed with the #2 weft of wawa is super fabulous for a very dark brown with red highlights.  God I wish I could find my camera.  Once I get my own hair colored I'm putting in redbrown and #4 all the way up.  and the PH bronze highlights.  and wow as if I werne't excited to begin with, the reassurance that I have nothing to worry about wrt the wawa changing colors makes it even better.
