I had the same problem... I now have two packs of #4 wawa that equal to somewhere between a 1B and a 2 on any other color ring... lol. You live and you learn. Its a good thing that WaWa is not expensive!

I have a ton of the wawa in 27/613. The 27 is too dark and too red, the 613 is too platinum. And I didnt trust my blending abilities but guess what......? Last night I blended them using the info Ive found on this board about blending, and the colors I got are BEAUTIFUL! And I barely wasted any hair! I was actually surprised how easily the colors blended. I mixed different amounts of the 27 and the 613 to acheive several shades of golden blondes! Yeahhhhh....!!! I will post some photos if anyone is interested!

So if you cant find the right shade of wawa there is hope!

Hey Sherrie.  Again beautiful pic.

But I think part of the problem is that there is no color between 4 and 27.  And those seem a but exteme to blend together.  I checked both vixenwigs and hairsisters.  maybe I should hunt somewhere else.

yeah I understand what you mean mocha. There is a big gap in the wawa color range. But if you blend some of the 613 with the 4 you can really bring the color up to a light brown. Ill post some pics of what I did with the 27 and 613. They really are an extreme color difference too. The 27 is dark and the 613 is very very light. Batteries are charging on camera, will post shortly!

oh....sorry....not to confuse anyone, NO that is not wawa in that picture it is human hair in 613 with some #26 honey blonde lowlights (which you cant see)

I just blended some of the 27/613 wawa and will post pics in just a few minutes!

ok here are some pictures of the wawa that I blended. It went really well, and I barely wasted any hair in the process. It was really hard to pick up the color in the photos it seems like the light reflects off the hair. And the last photo the hair doesnt look well blended, but it is I think its just the way the hair reflects the light...

Here you can see the drastic color difference between the 27 and 613

several blended shades

and another picture in different light

the 613 is on the left and the 27 on the right. Maybe I can get a better color representation during the day.

Oh, you do have lowlights (disregard my message on the other thread, lol).

You look even more beautiful in the enlarged pic. I like the side part, too.

I *cannot* believe you have a teenage daughter, Sher. You look way too young and hot for that.

SHERRIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got WaWa in 27 and 613 and I need to blend it.  I was the one who posted the other thread asking how to blend.  I'm so glad you posted those pictures.  It gives me hope that I CAN get a decent blend out of two colors so different from eachother.  Would you mind sharing about how much 613 to 27 you used?  As well as your technique for blending?

SAS!!!!!! HEY MOMMA....get your butt back here! I miss you and there have been some threads here that could use your expertise!

Jenny thanks chick...but the teenage daughter is the YOUNGEST! My son is soon to be 21! Somedays I feel OLDER than I am!

Bird, heres what I did. I used the bulk wawa, I seperated out the two different colors. used an amount equal to one of the 'stripes' of the 613 and just added a pinch of the 27. And then I did some the same way using the 27 and adding just a little 613. Then each bunch that blended I used a little more of the opposite color to get different shades.

You dont want to loose any length from trimming the uneven ends when you are done blending, so the key is to grip the hair really tight! I grab it at the top to start and use a brush to brush it together, brush brush brush several times. Then grab it in the middle and brush both ends thoroughly. Just keep repeating holding at the top & brushing then holding in the middle and brushing. Stop once in awhile while holding tightly at the top and seperate the bundle and shuffle (like cutting a deck of cards.)

I tried my vent brush with the ball tips...not enough bristles to blend the hair well. and it pulls the hair too much. My soft bristle brush was to soft to really penetrate the whole bundle well enough to blend it good. I ended up using my round nylon brush that has very stiff and dense bristles. It goes through the bunch of hair smoothly and blends the hair with much less brushing. I think using the right brush was very important to making it blend easily.  With a tight grip and the right brush and youll find blending is pretty easy!
