I basically took PH and braided it like I would putting dome style extensions in. THEN instead of having a piece of hair out to seal around it, I put liquid gold on the braid. It stayed and has stayed for about a week. I just did highlights though. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner also for LG and it has heald alot better. AND i used the bond holder stuffs from LG and that has helped alot.

I am staying with LG I think!

when I was new to extensions I would braid them in and kinda braid the glue in with it.  its 10 times harder getting it out in the end.

seriously?  I didnt have too much trouble with taking them out... Maybe because I just put it around the braid? dunno. Liquid gold is great though.

You know, I was just wondering yesterday if it would be worth it to put like, 1 drop of LG right where you loop the extension hair over to start your braid.

I don't know if the time involved is worth it, but for putting them on yourself it might give that extra security you need.

i think boogiemama and possibly rae? mentioned using spirit glue to give a little hold while doing the wrap part before the heat seal. apparently the spirit glue gives just a bit of hold but washes out/wears out over time without need for a remover.

Bettie definitely puts something over the wrap part before the heat seal. I forgot to ask her what it was, but I'm fairly certain it's not spirit gum because it gets hard and it lasted 10 weeks.  It was easy to remove; I used X-tend removal solution just to weaken it, then cracked it open and undid the braid.

hmm. so maybe i could braid it and leave it like a heat seal and put the glue on the outside of the wrap? who knows... :-\ I'm doin pretty well with just braiding it an inch and just putting LG on that. Its holding well and doesnt require too many special steps. I just dont wanna buy any special equipment...

Hey, does anyone think that just fusion bonding it would work too? on one of the LG sites it says you can just do a fusion bond without too much heat. Just a curling iron. THats where i got the braid idea.

OH, btw only the LG remover has taken the LG out sucessfully for me. Kinda funny actually. I am totally anti acetone after it like bleached out part of my hair... I dunno how because acetone isnt supposed to do that i thought...
