I received my PH wefts finally!  It took about 6 weeks from the time I placed my order.

I'm going to make clip ins out of them, and will post a pic as soon as I get them done.

Here are some pictures of the wefts, they are Mahaghoni and weintraube and  Mahaghoni and Burgund rot:

Wow, those look nice!  I love the colors and can't wait for pics of them being worn.  It's like raspberry and blueberry.  Mmmmm.

Yeah, those are hot! I just love that you can create whatever streaks you want in whatever widths you want. How does the hair feel compared to the other brands you've been testing, Metalgirl?

These wefts, and Leia's recent falls tutorial, have me seriously thinking about making some hairpieces for myself....

Hey Meta. (those are nice btw. beautiful!) What area are you in again? I am in sacramento (roseville/antelope) and I was wondering how far of a drive it would be to get my hair done by you! :) Hopefully I will be able to. It wont be for a couple months unfortunately though... :-\

I can't wait to do wefts again. Man, this bulk is killin' me here.

Do PH wefts have the shorties up at the top? Can they do blending
like on some of the fancy colors I'm seeing on the ring? I can never
blend as well as that. I always end up with some bigger chunks of
color in there no matter how much I shuffle the haar.

Saw your Prostyles class is in a week. Yaaaahooo!

Hey CandiLocks,  you're only about a 30 minute drive from me!

I have several clients who come from the Roseville area and Sacramento as well.  From Roseville, drive down Auburn-Folsom Rd, crossing Greenback (where it becomes Folsom Blvd)  follow it all the way to highway 50 (near the Folsom outlets).  Take Hwy 50 east for about 12 miles or so, and there I am!  In the old days, it was faster to cross the Folsom Dam road, but they closed that since 9/11.

Methods I do:

*coming May 15th,  Prostyles

*shrink links

*seamless wefts

*micro links (I'm favoring the protubes right now)

*sewn in weave

Take a look at my website for more info.

I've been doing extensions for several years, but the Prostyles is a new thing for me and so I am looking for Prostyles guinea pigs.  I want to do at least a handful of heads in this method before I start charging for it.  I don't charge guinea pigs a fee for the application, just the cost of the hair.  Email me if your interested!

the shortest the hair comes ont he weft is ~8" if you get 40" length.  if you get folded int he center it's folded int he center...

I just had a crazy ass weft made for a client.  If you go as over the top as she did it will cost more than she posts as the charge.  But she had something like 15 colors most of which were blends of the colors on sara's page.

when I got wefts from her previously I hd a variety of streaks and blending doena nd the cost was as posted online.

does that help/make sense?

Jenny:

The hair feels soft, but a little frizzy at the ends.  My only real complaint is that these wefts weren't made exactly to my specifications.  I requested 1/2" mahaghoni and 1/4" of either the burgund or weintraube.  I wanted a greater proportion of the mahaghoni to the funky colors, but that's not what I got.  That's ok, I'll wear them anyway, the funky colors will just be a little more prominent than I wanted.  I can pull it off, I like funky stuff anyway.

AMM: By the shorties, do you mean the weft 'turn around'  (the hair folded over for an inch or so as it was machine wefted) area on top?  I didn't see any shorties.

I am so ready to wear something new, as  I am being to hate the curly WA WA.  Too bad, but it was fun while it lasted.
