Well did you have the last color work done by a salon professional at a salon or did you do it yourself?

My advice would be to goto someone with color experience to recolor your hair to a uniform color throughout. The regrowth is virgin hair that hasn't been exposed to any chemical service while the rest of your hair has. Adding another color will color your whole head but only someone experienced with color will be able to best match the new regrowth with the hair that has already been colored. Some hair that has been chemically treated with colors or other chemicals like a perm can be more porous and will absorb more color than your regrowth so the color could still look uneven. Best to leave it up to a color expert. If your not sure call a salon and ask if they have a Master Colorist on hand and explain your situation to them they should definately be able to help you.

G'luck let us know how you make out.

Maybe ask a stylist to put in highlights to help blend in more, so there's not so harsh a line, if you're planning to grow it out natural.
