I have a few questions about hair extensions if anyone wants to help me out that would be great!!

I had Great Lengths put in and LOVED the hair!!  I hated the method and the cost so I tried something else.  I have microlinks in now and I love the method but I hate the hair.  I don't know what brand my stylist used, I just know the top of the bag is red.  My hair sheds like mad, seriously, my bathroom is a giant hair jungle!  It's also very dry and tangles easily.

So I thought about bringing my own hair but I know NOTHING about what's good or what's bad.  Is it rude to basically say, "the hair you used blows, let's try this?"

so basically I'm asking what hair should I use and what's the proper ettiquette?

Thanks in advance!

Aaaaah, it'll be okay. Just say "I had some issues with the brand of hair, and was wondering if we could try your application method with another brand?" She shouldn't take offense as long as you emphasize that it's the hair, not her installation, that you're not happy with. :)

Have your stylist order the Softwear EZ Plug hair.  It's great stuff and it doesn't shed. http://www.extensionsplus.com - www.extensionsplus.com

The only reason that I can think of as to why your hair is shedding, is that perhaps she put it in loose and not pretipped?

Good luck, and you may be new, but certainly not stupid!

Hey Sparks, I'm new too and I pre-tipped my own hair and it turned out fabulous! Don't be scared, just look at some of the threads that show you how!
