Hi,

I just got my hair cut pretty short and I'm still not 100% happy with it because it feels like I hardly have any left!  My hair is fine, and she used thinning shears and everything to layer the heck out of it.  It's the kind of cut that needs some kind of wax or pomade to help bring out all of the texturizing.  Any tips on good waxes?  The stylist used the Aveda In-Control on me, which worked okay but I can't stand the scent of it, and left residue on my hands after I would touch my hair.  Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

For fine hair try:

Paul Mitchell Firm Hold Style, Super Clean Sculpting Gel

Graham Webb Brit Style Exothermic Styling Gel

L'Oreal Studio Line FX Aqua Gel, Strong Hold

L'Oreal Studio Line Grab, Mega Hold Texture Gel

Garnier Fructis Fiber Gum Putty Pliable Molding, Extra Strong Gel

Goodluck!

Definitely you shouldn't have fine hair thinned and too heavily layered, or it'll just look thinner and flatter.  Next time go a little easier on that stuff, and you'll probably be happier.

More awesome than a manatee!

Wax leaves (build up)residue in hair and it is hard to wash out of hair.Try to avoid wax.
