ewww.....you dont want to use latex to glue in wefts. If your lucky it'll last several DAYS! And its gooey and messy to remove. And nearly impossible to get the glue out of the weft track to reuse the weft!

When I made my clip in hair.I just used a matching thread color. And tied my clips on.The toupee clips should have two holes on each side just for it.

Wait...Are you still doing clipins or did you change your mind.I have never done bonded wefts. If thats what your doing  Sherrie's right I dont think latex is the way to go.I'm pretipping with latex for shrinkies and let me tell you its perfect for that. Its not coming out of that hair.

Latex will last a little bit longer if you use Sherrie's weft-sandwiching technique- up to a few weeks, at least. I think the link to it is in the Extensions 101 thread.

I think its a good temporary method if you dont want clip in's, I use that when I want hair for a week.

When I used to use glue ages ago.  After I glued the track and let it dry a little I would take some spritz and get down in the crease and spritz the glued track, then I took a hair dryer on high and dried it.  It stayed in a little longer and when it was time to take out the glue and weft would come out in one chunck all at the same time.
