Hey, is it possible to have only the ends of my hair permed? I have hair that is about 4-5in past my shoulders, and was wondering if I could get just the bottom few inches permed, just to give my hair texture. It's SO pin straight.

Is this possible?

Hi Lunar flame,

I'm mitch5150. I've been a haircutter/hairstylist since 1993 just to let you know how much experience I have I specialize in cutting long hair because I love long hair. Yes you can perm the bottom of your hair it's possible, but there are a few drawbacks to doing this. A perm makes your hair feel thicker and if you decide to perm the bottom of your hair the bottom might feel thicker than the hair above the perm and it might feel a little awkward or not. For the look of the hair it would look good if done properly. In mine opinion I wouldn't perm the bottom of your hair sometimes perms do more damage than good you have beautiful hair experiment with curling irons and different styles and different styling products before you start perming your hair. You can't undo damages from a perm the only solution is to cut off the damaged part of your hair. If you have any questions you can email at mailto:customonegtr@rock.com - customonegtr@rock.com I would be glad to help you out with anything you like to do with your hair.

Sincerely

mitch5150
