I found a flocked (velvet) iron on ebay. I remembered haveing one as a teenager and thought I would see if there still out there. Ebay search for flocked-velvet curling iron and yes they are still around. I ordered PH and thought this could be used to straighten out my own hair when in with the ph or for quick curls
