Hi people

I'm a 19 year old, male who was quite thick hair and I am wanting to grow it long. My hair is quite thick so is this possible? The main problem seems to be my fringe and on the top of my head, it just grows really thick.

I wanna have a parting it in but will this be possible with my thick hair? It seems to be taking ages to grow

I wanna go for this kind of look.

please help guys

I am no expert but in my experience, people who have thick hair that conflicts with a style they want can usually achieve it with layers. I would say go for it. You can always chose not to grow more but once it is cut it is gone.

I think once your hair grows, since it is thick it will probably look better than the guy in the picture's hair (not that his looks bad or anything, but thick looks good) and once its long enough it will stay parted however you want it.

I'll give it time

at the back though my hair is quite long but it curls up

I want it to lay down, flat and long. What can I do apart from using straightners?

no no no....don't use str8ners or it will never be long....your hair will just split and split over time until it can't split no more-trust me i am there!!! and by the way thick hair is very sexy on a guy.

My husband has long thick hair.Like rediculously thick.Probably the thickest head of hair I've ever seen, lol. He does an undercut.I know those seem pretty stupid. But when your hair is so thick it really makes a difference of how it lays.He only cutsit up high enough to thin it down to a basic thickness.I have never liked undercuts before.Usually i had seen them on guys with thin hair to begin with so it was blatantly obvious or on girls.ewwww.But on my husband you cant tell.He wears his hair in a low ponytail currently and when its down it completely covers it.If it wasnt for this his hair would be huge. Cause its also curly. My husband is caucasian though. So if you have african american hair disregard my post because I know the hair texture and way you treat it is completely different.
