Hey are you natural? I am (4a/b, i think), so this is what works for me. With two strands, i think its all about what you put on your hair when u first twist that will determine how frrizzy your hair is when u twist-out.
I've got twists in my hair now, and the key is moisturizing. when my hair has moisture in it, its a LOT less frizzy. I typically do twist-outs after i conditioner wash my hair. I put leave-in conditioner all over, then i apply shea butter to the bottom half of my hair and then add a little of Aveda's humectant pomade to the ends as well, to give it a little extra hold. you dont need too much.
I usually leave my twists in a couple weeks before a twist out, for convenience, and I can wear the twist-out up to a week if i really care for it at night. But some of my friends only leave them in for a few hours or overnight before they twist out, so the twists just need to set is all...dont need to leave them in forever.
*also braid outs are great too, if ur still trying to get the twists down. Moisturize the same way, just braid instead of twist.
as far as good sites go i'd recommend the following:
