Layla, I don't know if you're referring to pre-poo or hot oil treatments, but I apply my pre-poo mixture (EVOO, organic virgin coconut oil, jojoba and aloe vera gel) to DRY hair, apply shower cap and let sit before shampooing. HTH~~ ------------- ~~  LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!~~

i do the same as browneyes and put on a shower cap overnight. by morning, my hair is soaking wet with perspiration from my scalp....that softens my ahir ------------- |

I've recently picked up on oiling again, and do it on dry hair. You can still oil wet, but it's best to oil wet hair after a hairwash rather than before. HTH Anais ------------- http://anaissatin.livejournal.com">  my LJ , 40 inches long
