I have tried SEVERAL different products, I am looking for something to tame the outer layer of my hair. It seems to look like fly aways after I blow dry or anything. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks!!

my husband has the same problem. His hair is long and naturally curly. Its not good for it but the only thing that seems to work is a flat iron.I have an idea that its sun related.I think so cause the hair exposed on the top layer is the unruly hair.Maybe from now on you could wear a hair protector.I use one by frizz ease.It protects from heat styling. And it also has spf15 in it.People never think of protecting their hair from the sun.My husband has had this problem forever and does nothing to his hair. The only reason i know about the flat iron is cause I talked him into letiing me straightening it once. His hair is strong and healthy so it took it well. But I dont recommend a flat iron I was just merely stating that it works.Try a smoothing balm first.let the latter be a last resort.

Using a boars bristle brush when you blow dry can help with smoothing hair out a lot, if you're prone to flyaways. And smoothing balms work great, like longhairdreams said, or try spraying a bit of hair spray onto your hands and then smoothing your hands down over your hair, if you have fine or oily hair like I do. Balm weighs it down sometimes.
