Anyone know about this, the strongest compound for straightening hair? How long does it last, is the treated hair permanent, or do you have to touch up the same relaxed hair(or just roots?) every 3 months or so? thanks

You may use a lye-based straightener in your hair or have it done professionally (preferably). That is not the same as putting sodium hydroxide on your head, which could cause permanent hair loss and nasty scarring. Don't forget the embarrassing trip to the ER, either.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
