I had tracks put in 3 weeks ago, and already they are loose and the hair is SOOO knotty (prolly why the braids are loose already).

The hair was cheap, 'Feme' brand brought at a shop in paris, but surely even cheap hair should last longer than 3 weeks???!

I comb & brush it and move my head it its knotting back up again.  I have tried 3 different types of leave in conditioner/detangler, use conditioner on it every time - I dont know what else to do???  Anyone got any ideas?

Also finding that the weaves are itchy itchy itchy and have tried all sorts of scalp treatments for this too

I love having long hair but cant afford to redo tracks every 3 weeks, and I honestly dont think pinch braids etc would stand up to brushing out all the knots, but if i dont brush - it looks like dregs

help!!!

How often did you detangle it at the beginning, and did you comb it starting at the bottom and working your way up?

If so, it looks like bad hair you've got. But if you let it get matted up once, not realizing how quickly human hair can mat, then the detangling process can cause enough damage that it will mat up on its own really quickly.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

most the time I did comb it bottom up as I know thats what you shoudl do, but sometimes it was just SOO dam knotty I probably got impatient

I love having long hair but its starting to look frizzy already!

Any suggestions on anything I can use to repair it?  I live in NZ so its no use recommending products by US or UK brand names unless there is a website that will ship to NZ?

so where is the most reasonable place to get better quality human hair?

It looked fine when I brought it - nice & silky and smooth :(

It always looks nice when you buy it, they coat it with sillicone.  After a few shampoos, the sillicone is washed off, and then the tangling nightmare begins.

For human hair, I'd go with http://www.superhairfactory.com - www.superhairfactory.com or http://www.ebonyline.com - www.ebonyline.com    or http://www.extensionsplus.com - www.extensionsplus.com .

I will only buy Bohyme hair from Ebonyline or Superhair Factory or Extension Plus' Softwear hair.

And many of those places will ship internationally. The shipping may cost a lot, but from what I hear, there's not a lot in hair available in NZ, so the stuff you get locally probably has inflated prices.

If you're ordering overseas, I would *not* recommend Superhairfactory, though. A few of our international members have had problems with them.

Question to all, I looked at the Brazilian Wave machine wefted hair on superhairfactory's website- How many packs of 4 oz. would it take to do a full head of weave?  Thanks for all of your help.
