I am going to be ordering PH for my friend and she has
actual CURLED hair. It looks like she just got attacked with a curling
iron and it styled her hair beautifully and instantly! Shes greek
and she has the actual ringlet curls basically lol. Well anyways,
will the 28 mm curl satisfy her curled hair or will she need something
different? also, if i were to get her just streight, would her curls poke through the streight? I know she would have to flat iron the top, but underneath all of the heat seals will it make a difference? I have no idea what the difference between 28 mm curl and 50 mm wave. Anyone got any pics? thx! -------------  Hugs!

| 28mm would probably be your best bet. Keep in mind that the wave will drop after a few washings, so she'll need to get a set of velvet flocked hot rollers to reset the curl later on. :) |

And actually, come to think of it; my experience with all synth has
been that, even with wear and the weight of its own length, it will
straighten. And all of the human hair I've seen has straightened almost
entirely after a few washes! I did a Deep Wave install a few weeks
back, but haven't seen it on the the client since then. So, Amm in
specific, and anyone else who has experience with curly hair: what

Naturally curly hair is tricky, but the right hot rollers can create a
lasting curl, at least between washes (and it's best not to wash synth
too much anyway). Now the big jumbo hot rollers would most likely
create too loose of a curl, but the smaller ones (especially the older,
vintage sets) create quite a serious curl. Here's mine a few months
ago, curled (not very well) with vintage Clairol Kindness rollers
(medium and large rollers): I couldn't get this curl out until I washed it; it was quite resilient. :) |

So should i look at goodwill or something like that for really small
hot rollers, specifically flocked ones? even wal greens or sumthin. So they dont drop curl UNTIL you wash them? So i could help her curl it after she washes it. i am hoping that will work because she has like curling iron ringlets basically. its really quite awsome. okies thanks alot girls! ------------- Hugs!

I think that if this curly hair girl is willing to reset the PH as necessary, it could work for her. Yes, curly hair will poke out if straight hair is put on top of it. I think that to make ringletts out of PH, you should tell her to get some of those 'hot sticks' curler things. ive got these new rollers i use on my hair that are kinda like a
squishy stick that the ends turns pink when they are hot and they
connect together at the ends to create a loop and they do not work for
me at all. they arnt hot enough. i dunno if that is what you're talking
about or not.
