Highlights. My hair is black and I was thinking of getting some light brownish highlights. Does getting highlights damage your hair?

Ahh that sucks. I see a lot of girls who have highlights and their hair looks completely fine.

Going from black to light brown is going to cause damage. Most of the girls I see with highlights have hair that looks fried. Maybe you're not used to the appearance of natural hair. -------------
