How do you do it?  I'm not quite sure if I understand what yall mean when yall say to comb your hair from the bottom up.  Does you mean to hold your head upside down and comb your hair towards the ground?

no, it means that instead of combing root to ends, you comb the ends 1st, then work your way up to the roots

As you work your way up, you remove tangles gently, a little at a time. Compare this with starting at the top and ripping down through the tangles, which causes lots of breakage.
