Speaking of long hair and sports, it's great to see Mary Pierce has grown her hair out again. She had a great braid flying around during the French Open. She sure scrunches her face up when she plays. She's really pretty otherwise.

Wouldn't like to get hit by Mary's braid (the one from the old days).

Hey comedians: Instead of commenting on how the link doesn't work, here's a fresh idea: Go to Yahoo. Click on News. Click on Photos. Type in Mary Pierce. Imagine what might pop up. Others give similar directions for GettyImages.com or WireImages.com all the time. I've just copied and pasted the link for the Mary Pierce braid photo a second time. It seems to work. But in case it doesn't, feel free to follow the directions provided.

I'm not a tennis fan in the least, but if I was, Mary Pierce's dramatic cut years ago would have curbed my interest. It was a yawner! The Women's tour direly needs femininity to maximize the sale of its product, and Mary apparently has gotten the message, thankfully. Bob

I think Bob is the diametrical opposition of Arch.

This may be old or at least dated news, but Mary Pierce now has long brunette hair. This photo is from July:

In some of those pics, she looks like she's going a bit grey on top. Blonde was better.

I think she looks sensational! Too much sun, yes, but it's part of the price one pays to become a tennis star. Best, Bob

Mary has an unusual face: difficult to know what style would suit her best.

Come on, she has never won any tournaments, she is only famous because of her hair and psycho Dad...oh, wait...sorry, I thought we were talking about the "OTHER" blonde tennis player with long blonde hair...my apologies...

Mary has won a few (unlike that OTHER blonde tennis player). Maybe she could have won more if she hadn't had that thick plait weighing her head down?

Now Now, Anna K did win several Doubles titles, but never singles, to be fair Talentwise, I put Mary ahead of Anna, for looks and hair, the other way around!

Interesting that most of Martina Hingis' 5 Grand Slam titles came as a short hair. Maybe the long haired tennis players get too worried about ruffling their hair?
