i'm excited to find this web site, I am a new hairdresser, and still have alot of questions.  I was hoping to find out a little about Sebastians Cellophanes/Colorshines I have been able to figure out that it is Semi-Permanent color and that it contains no ammonia or peroxide.  My question is this: What is the chemical used to open the cuticle and deposit the dye?  Or does it just stain the cuticle?  Is this product damaging at all to your hair, does it reduce the amount of protien in your hair?
