Hello everyone!

I've searched this forum with no luck, so I need your help!

I recently got an acid based perm.   At first it didn't even take and had to be done over.   I really don't care for it because the curls are too weak. I want to switch to a thio based perm and wanted to know if I wait 2-3 months will it be okay.

My hair is really healthy, thick and coarse.  It's not breaking/shedding and I take really good care of it.

TIA!

O ok...well not many people have responded. Have you asked a professional stylist? I agree that if you wait 2 or 3 months and just used that specific perm on the new growth that it should be fine.

I've called around but when I mention 'acid perm' I get silence, lol.  They know thio perms, but not acid...

Thanks for responding!
