I will be taking some swim classes over the next month. I know I will wear
a swim cap, but even with the cap my hair always gets wet. Any suggestions on shampoos, conditioners, etc. for relaxed & color-treated hair to minimize the damage from the chlorine. THANKS!! |

There are specific shampoos and conditioners for swimming. I saw some at a couple of heathfood stores. I'm sure there are some other places as well. ------------- Natural BC May 9, 2004 |

Whatever conditioner you decide to use, try saturating your hair with it before swimming. The one I would recommend is Porosity Control conditioner. |

| My daughter was taking swimming lessons. I coated her hair in a creme rinse conditioner and dax. It actually grew her hair or maybe helped her retain length. In fact her hair was in the best condition ever and she went everyday. |
