my hair is straight. For sum reason i havent been able to get waves all around my head, just some on the top. Should i take my top waves out wit a comb and get a kit for better hair?

A kit is only going to make your hair straighter.

revised

What I do is simple, but is time consuming. I put pink lotion or any other type of moisturizer(such as shea butter, lets jam, or just use water) in my hair and brush every section for 10 minutes each nonstop. Then rest for 10 minutes and repeat. some times i'll do it about 3 or 4 times but i'll usually spend about a 80minutes brushing. Then i du-rag it.

My hair gets a lil nappy when it gets long.

Also I use 2 brushes at the same time when I brush.

No you don't need a kit for straight hair. You need curls bra. Try Scurl activator/Scurl gel.

Curl activator will get your hair in shape for waves. It takes curls to get waves. Having straight hair will take longer.
